A small community set amongst stunning scenery is what brings and keeps people living in this remote area. Originally a mining town of National significance, Waratah now is a more laid back tourist destination, boasting a waterfall in the centre of town, boutique accommodation, a historical museum and galleries.
This week (Wed 28th April 10-3pm) the town will showcase its hidden and not so hidden attributes. The organisers have generously invited me along to share a display of my books and so I would like to invite you along as well.
If you are in Tassie and looking for a day out, call in to Waratah, you'll find plenty to do!
