Im not sure that 11th place is actually a place but I am very honoured that someone thought so.
Magnort, is an all time favourite. Inspired by a submissions call for a childrens hospital anthology it did not get included, but 518Pubublishing accepted it and now a place winner in the Critter Awards.
The version within, A Guide to Useless Sidekicks, is a short story while I work on a novel length for 8years plus.
It's exciting and fantastical with elements that marry our genre understanding of fantasy, adding new depths; characters and places.
